The newly designed ProTec and SafeTec product lines will replace earlier DIN Rail lines. These new SPDs are designed to provide protection of sensitive electronic equipment connected to low voltage power systems. Typical applications include micro-controller based electronics used in light industrial and commercial environments including building infrastructure, residential, lighting, renewable energy and transportation.
The new product series features advances in thermal disconnection technology, screwless mounting, and 2- and 3-stage MOV and GDT/MOV hybrid technology, all available in every desirable voltage, IEC class and/or UL type. A contemporary, space-saving profile and locking mechanism make module replacement easy while ensuring secure functionality in areas of high mechanical vibrations – such as wind and rail applications. These Raycap solutions provide users with new options, superior designs and technological features that provide simplicity and ease of deployment and installation without compromising quality.
