AC Disconnects with Surge Protection

Raycap’s AC Disconnects for wireless small cell networks are 120/240 VAC industry-standard load centers and surge protection devices that are Suitable for use as Service Equipment (SUSE) with NO conditions, per UL and NEC. They are designed to provide robust electrical protection for the AC power circuits for today’s small-cell radio systems. They employ our Strikesorb^® 30-A-2CHV or 30-A modules capable of withstanding direct surge currents up to 5kA (10/350 µs) and induced surge currents up to 60 kA (8/20 µs).

AC power distribution-only disconnects are ideal when an existing fuse or breaker already exists.

AC Disconnects can be used downline from an existing disconnect fuse or breaker. They offer many varying features including enclosure types and sizes, external handle disconnects or internal switches, DIN rail mounted load-breakers for power distribution, and more.
